Latina

1998
Beth Galí

A streetlamp of exceptional artistic beauty for lighting large urban areas. In the shape of a lateen sail, this lamp is reminiscent of dock cranes as it exudes powerful presence and bold visual prominence and practicality in keeping with its size. It comprises two highly distinguishable parts: an initial shaft and two tubes where one holds aloft up to five floodlights while the other serves as a brace affording strength to the whole structure.
