Ocellets park, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain
A park integrated into the city
This project was born from the need to design a space for free circulation with adaptable pedestrian areas and to resolve the difference in heights between the central area and the pavement of the perimeter streets. For this, the architecture studio Batlle i Roig placed 108 benches in rhomboidal shapes without backs that generate different environments with multiple uses while maintaining the existing vegetation. Streetlamps 108 discreetly illuminate the space, giving it prominence.
