A comfortable outdoor urban pathway light that accompanies every step with a suspended window of light, signaling the route. Skyline is a pathway light with essential lines, where light and color combine in an interplay inspired by the Russian Suprematist Kazimir Malévich.
Antoni Roselló
Antoni Roselló explored various options during his academic studies, first at the School of Surveyors of Barcelona (1963) and, then, at the School of Fine Arts in the same city (1967). During this period as a student he worked in the studio of the architect Manuel Baldrich and in Ricardo Bofill's Taller de Arquitectura. From the 1970s onwards he practised drawing, painting and sculpture without interruption, beginning to reflect on many of the themes that would go on to recur in his work, now framed within the field of architecture. Throughout his entire career he collaborated with various architecture studios, delving deeper into the culture of public spaces and the city dimension. He carried out different projects related to architecture, microarchitecture and urban sculpture, linking symbolism with utility. From the mid-1980s he became interested by industrial design, achieving significant success and recognition in this activity. He has been one of the most representative figures of urban design in Spain, especially renowned for such emblematic elements as the ONCE lottery booth (1986), the Barcelona tram stops or his great urban sculptures for Barcelona, Madrid or Pamplona.Some of his work has been recognised with various design awards. He won several ADI-FAD Silver Deltas for different projects such as the Olimpia playground in 1992, the Mobile Bar Unit (MBU) in 1993 or the All Purpose Mobile Unit (APMU) in 2003, among others. In 2004 he was jointly awarded, with Rafael de Cáceres, with the City of Barcelona Award for the Barcelona Metropolitan Tramway stations project. Antoni Roselló is the author of various Urbidermis catalogue products, comprising both street furniture and lighting: the Maya litter bin, the Mondrian tree grate, the Skyline pathway light and the Gunnar lighting system. A warm light on the pathway
With pure geometric shapes in constant interaction, the light windows of the Skyline pathway lights illuminate the horizontal plane and provide volumetric vertical lighting to detect the presence of pedestrians without intruding. These qualities make it possible to delineate spaces and structure routes, combining quality and strength.
