Urban trees

Urban trees make up a significant part of the city’s green infrastructure. We select urban trees by considering how well they will adapt to the environment, how easy they are to maintain and how to mitigate future risks. Each species has characteristics and benefits that improve well-being for people, increase the perceived value of the renewed space, promote the inclusion of biodiversity in the city and reduce contaminants and high temperatures. Each tree is suitable for its habitat, with differentiated profiles in terms of physiology and metabolism, adjusted for the environmental conditions where they are located.

Despite the fact that they are more artificial, cities can be considered as an ecosystem that has specific requirements and conditions. Urban trees create essential space for biodiversity, connecting different levels of green corridors. Along with our selection of plants, our urban trees in AirPots® make it easier to build a healthy, safe and valuable green infrastructure.

We back the production of urban trees with Air-Pot®, as an alternative for healthy root growth, that is low-risk in terms of survival and quick to implant in new urban, firm and stable sites.
