Inauguré en 1908, St Andrew’s Playground Park a été témoin pendant plusieurs décennies, de l’évolution de ce que nous connaissons aujourd’hui comme le Fashion District, en raison du rôle important qu’il a joué dans l’industrie du textile au début du XXe siècle. Les riverains de ce quartier de tradition ouvrière, reconverti en destination commerciale et résidentielle, ont énormément utilisé ce parc et son aire de jeux.
