St. Andrew’s Playground Park

Toronto, Canada

St. Andrew’s Playground Park

Opened in 1908, St Andrew’s Playground Park has, over the decades, witnessed the evolution of what is now known as Fashion District, so named as a result of the role it played in the textile industry at the beginning of the 20th century. The park and playground have continuously served the adjacent neighborhood: an area with a manufacturing tradition that has been re-purposed as a commercial and residential destination.
