La arquitectura de los árboles
The Architecture of Trees is a botanical masterpiece. It presents more than 550 pen and ink illustrations of 212 species of trees, with and without foliage, at a scale of 1:100. In addition, it presents the study of shadows and colours that provide another perspective on each of the species. This historical study, now in Spanish, is a reference for architects, designers, botanists and all those fascinated by nature and trees.
Andrea Cavani and Giulio Orsini, founders of the Cesare Leonardi Architectural Archive, curated this book which illustrates the birth, development and progress of Cesare Leonardi and Franca Stagi’s research on trees.
